Job Title: Bill of Materials Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Bill of Materials Manager to lead the development of Service Bill of Materials (SBOM) for our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed lists of parts needed to fix products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure these lists are always up-to-date with the latest designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive Service BOMs for all our products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure all Service BOMs reflect current design requirements.
  • Implement and manage a system for Service BOM version control and ensure that changes are communicated and implemented across all impacted departments.
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and logistics to verify part specifications and ensure availability of components.
  • Monitor, analyze, and maintain service BOM data per engineering BOM change management.
  • Develop processes and training to support team members on BOM-related processes and systems.
  • Participate in ERP-related projects associated with accurate Service BOM transfer.
  • Prepare and present BOM reports and related project updates to senior management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to BOM discrepancies or errors.
