Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all nursing services within the organization.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care.
  • Collaborate with other members of the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience.
  • Oversee the recruitment, retention, and development of nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care delivered across the organization, implementing quality and safety improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Manage the nursing department budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Tennessee license with a bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. A master's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive acute-care nursing and leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing care.
  • Proven track record of leading successful quality, safety, and patient experience improvement initiatives as well as achieving measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
