Job Overview
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, availability, and anticipated guest arrivals and departures.
  • Address guest grievances to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and nurture hotel personnel while ensuring all necessary training is completed in accordance with established standards.
  • Evaluate daily business levels, foresee critical situations, and devise effective strategies to address them promptly.
  • Develop weekly work schedules based on staffing guidelines and labor forecasts, making adjustments as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Night Audit processes and provide necessary training to team members.
  • Ensure timely completion of all end-of-month reports to meet standards.
  • Support staff in their roles to guarantee exceptional service for guests.
  • Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of designated areas.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards in all cashiering procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Compensation
Salary range between $48,000 to $55,000 based on experience in hospitality and Marriott standards.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high standard of service to guests by managing reservations, registration, bell services, telephone services, and guest accounting, with the aim of maximizing room revenue while adhering to the established standards and procedures of Shaner and/or its franchises. Foster and implement a robust service and management philosophy that guides the respective staff.

Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in front office management within the hospitality sector.
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Effective communication skills with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
