We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiology equipment to produce quality images as ordered/according to department protocols.
- Produce quality images for interpretation by the Radiologist.
- Instruct and supervise Radiography students in clinical practicum.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of the facilities, equipment, and supplies while abiding by WUH infection control policy and procedure.
- Follow WUH infection control policy and procedure.
- Accurate utilization of the Radiology Information Systems.
- Monitor exposure and follows department policy regarding pregnant patients.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Technical Diploma, Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services Required.
- Current New York State Radiologic technician license OR New Graduate with temporary Permit Required.
- Must become registered before expiration of temporary permit Required.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Required.
- Thorough knowledge of Radiography equipment Required.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $85,325. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
