Electrophysiology Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island. As an Electrophysiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective imaging of patients during electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform fluoroscopy and circulate in the room during procedures to ensure clear imaging and proper radiation safety for patients and staff.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot fluoroscopic equipment and electrophysiology diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and work to ensure departmental compliance with approved budgets.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of EP supplies and addressing malfunctioning equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology School.
  • Current and valid NYS License in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of Radiology experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrophysiology lab.
  • Experience with Hemodynamic monitoring systems used in EP Labs.
