Position Overview

At Cox Communications, we are on the lookout for a Senior Sales and Operations Specialist to enhance our retail operations. This role is tailored for individuals who excel in areas such as inventory oversight, loss mitigation, merchandising, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales & Operations Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock replenishment, and comprehensive store audits.
  • Implementing merchandising strategies in alignment with corporate guidelines and planograms.
  • Overseeing inventory management tasks, including store transfers, returns, and receiving processes.
  • Assisting in the execution of special events, providing marketing support and inventory planning.
  • Addressing escalated wireless issues and delivering effective solutions for technical inquiries.
  • Facilitating post-purchase onboarding, device activation, and content transfers for wireless products.
  • Coordinating with customers for in-store pickups of online orders and handling return and exchange matters.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain Management to ensure efficient order fulfillment and variance requests.
  • Staying updated on new products and technologies through necessary training sessions.
  • Guiding accessory performance and sales initiatives.
  • Meeting store sales and retention objectives.
  • Providing ongoing coaching to Solutions Specialists, ensuring timely feedback and serving as a product knowledge resource for all store personnel.
  • Assuming the role of Manager on Duty as needed, including opening and closing the store in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail operations.
  • Background in selling Wireless/Mobile products.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills with a willingness to learn about communication products and services.
  • Physical capability to lift 25-50 pounds for inventory management.
