Position Overview

At Cox Communications, we are in search of a Senior Sales and Operations Specialist to enhance our retail operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in areas such as inventory oversight, loss mitigation, merchandising strategies, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales & Operations Specialist, your expertise will be essential in the following areas:
  • Conducting inventory accuracy checks through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and store audits.
  • Implementing merchandising strategies in alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Managing inventory processes, including transfers, returns, and receiving.
  • Assisting in the execution of special events, including marketing and inventory planning.
  • Addressing escalated wireless issues and providing effective solutions.
  • Supporting post-purchase onboarding, device activation, and content transfers.
  • Coordinating with customers for in-store pickups of online orders and handling returns and exchanges.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain Management for order fulfillment and variance requests.
  • Staying updated on new products and technologies through necessary training.
  • Guiding accessory performance and sales strategies.
  • Ensuring store sales and retention targets are achieved.
  • Providing ongoing coaching to Solutions Specialists to deliver timely feedback and serve as a product knowledge resource.
  • Opening and closing the store as needed to fulfill managerial duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in store operations and selling wireless/mobile products.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in technology and communication products.
  • Physical capability to lift 25-50 pounds for inventory management.
