Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction sites to verify compliance with approved codes, laws, ordinances, regulations, and standards.
- Verify construction plans and calculations to ensure accuracy and adherence to approved designs.
- Interpret complex engineering documents to ensure construction compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection activities, including observations, measurements, and test results.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
- 3+ years of experience in building inspection or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, including California adopted codes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and engineers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
NV5 offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $50.00-$60.00 per hour, plus restricted stock units and a comprehensive benefits package.
