Job Title: Associate Director, Corporate Relations and Grants

At EPIP, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Corporate Relations and Grants to join our team. This role will be responsible for advancing a range of grants, sponsorships, and enterprise strategies, including preparation and submission of solicitations and reports to multiple foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit foundation and government grant solicitations, budgets, and reports.
  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with specific current foundation and government donors.
  • Oversee maintaining accurate, timely records of all grants activity, including updating data and creating reports from Raiser's Edge database.
  • Oversee maintaining schedule for grants submission deadlines and reporting deadlines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Evaluate current plans, develop expanded plans and strategies, and implement plans to expand recently launched corporate volunteer donation program.
  • Identify prospects and secure corporate sponsorships for large events, including park location openings and the annual Trails Forever Dinner.
  • Responsible for preparation and submittal of corporate grant solicitations, budgets, and reports.
  • Take the lead in building and maintaining ongoing relationship management with specific current corporate donors.
  • Increase contributions to the One Tam Business Club by 100% over a three-year period, focusing on businesses in Marin.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years related development/fundraising experience with an environmental organization or other nonprofit desirable.
  • Maturity, flexibility, and the ability to perform complex projects independently.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, computational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate corporate and grants-related activities with National Park Service and Presidio Trust partners, as well as other Conservancy staff.
  • Outstanding administrative experience and excellent references required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, database applications (Raiser's Edge database experience desirable).

Work is performed in an office setting. Work is primarily performed sitting, standing, and/or walking. Must be able to sit at a desk 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
