Job Summary

E.R. Snell Contractor is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and effectively operating mobile cranes to move materials and equipment on various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Mobile Crane: Safely and effectively operate mobile cranes to move materials and equipment on various job sites.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect, clean, and perform operator-level maintenance on equipment in accordance with standards.
  • Ensure Safety: Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition and follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors: Closely interact with supervisors for movement of materials and equipment and effectively coordinate daily activities.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary documentation, reporting, and limited office duties.
Requirements:
  • Education: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
  • Certifications: NCCCO Certification is required, and a valid DOT Physical Card is also necessary.
  • Experience: 3 years or more industry-related experience is preferred, with an emphasis on roads, highways, bridges, and pile driving.
  • Skills: Qualified Rigging Level 1 training and Qualified Signal Person Level 1 training are required.
  • Availability: Must be able to work nights and weekends when required and have a valid driver's license.
