Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a range of heavy equipment, including trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, excavators, skid steers, skidders, and tractors, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including fluid and filter changes, parts lubrication, and daily safety checks.
  • Site Management: Ensure that equipment is safely and securely stored, and that the work site is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including interacting with customers and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift items of 50 pounds or more overhead, and to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read and write to keep up with daily records.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work independently and to stay on top of the schedule, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or swing shifts as required.
