Job Summary

As a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician with the Global Contracting Group, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex equipment on job sites. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Service Truck: Ensure that your service truck is well-maintained, clean, and organized, adhering to all highway and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Regulations: Comply with company policies, MSHA, and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Accurate Diagnosis and Repair: Accurately diagnose equipment repairs and order necessary parts in a timely manner.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate repair status with job site personnel and equipment department supervision.
Requirements
  • Clean Driving Record: Possess a clean driving record with a current medical card.
  • Technical Experience: Five years or more experience as a heavy equipment field technician.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions and stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to utilize CAT SIS Web to locate and order parts and utilize ET/Laptop to identify failure codes and aid in troubleshooting.
  • Personal Qualities: Must be self-motivated with attention to detail.
