Data Center Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Industrial Staffing Inc. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing data center equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and terminate fiber optic cables
- Manage and label cable infrastructure
- Rack and stack customer equipment
- Install fiber tray, ladder rack, and customer equipment
- Perform infrastructure installs, including cable management and fiber tray systems
- Receive and assemble materials
- Install outside plant (OSP) infrastructure, including running fiber into data centers
- Read and follow blueprints for installation
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- 0-2 years of Data Center Technician experience
- Active OSHA 10 certification preferred
Must be able to work on a ladder and/or scissor lift, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work on your feet for entire shift.
Tools:Basic hand tools, including screwdriver, tape measure, snips, pliers, punch down tool, flashlight, work boots, gloves, and tool pouch.
