Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Sunrise Systems, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware troubleshooting, physical network setup, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis to identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering departments and customers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain deployment equipment, images, and software.
  • Support field deployments globally by proactively and reactively resolving issues.
  • Assist in tracking server fleet health to investigate trends and validate customer SLA.
  • Utilize Linux and Windows Command-Line to troubleshoot hardware.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of related work experience as a data center technician.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to independently and regularly lift items weighing up to 50lbs or in partnership for items over 50lbs in weight.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a local or geographically dispersed team environment.
