Job Overview

ZT Systems is a leading provider of custom server and rack-level compute solutions. We are seeking a Data Center Technician to join our team in the field, supporting our customers as they deploy and maintain our servers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to service tickets for ZT servers in a timely manner
  • Keeping parts lockers up to date and properly stocked
  • Troubleshooting and triaging server failures to determine the most efficient path to getting a server back online
  • Tracking server fleet health and validating that ZT is exceeding customer requirements
  • Providing consistent, detailed feedback to the ZT engineering team on failures and serviceability
  • Applying firmware and BIOS updates as needed using ZT engineering-approved tools
  • Complying with all datacenter safety, security, and operational protocols
  • Representing ZT Systems in a professional manner at all times
