We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- BLS Provider certification, obtained within 1 month of hire date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition.
- Advanced Life Support certification, preferably from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Certification in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program and Neonatal Resuscitation, both preferred.
Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
