Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install base.
  • Ensure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in the areas of safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Develop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Partner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; presents the service offering to customers as required.
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of the field service team.
  • Drive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports.
  • Develop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer service.
  • Promote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing a field team of 5-10 mechanical technicians.
  • Ability to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards in a service environment.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (~15% overnight).
  • Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel.
