Job Overview

FiberComm, a subsidiary of ImOn Communications, has been a trusted provider of business telecommunications in the Siouxland region since 1997. As we expand our services to include fiber-to-the-home Internet solutions, we are seeking a Direct Sales Representative to contribute to our growth.

The Direct Sales Representative serves as the face of FiberComm, engaging with potential clients to promote and sell our Internet and Phone services in alignment with company policies. Sales representatives utilize lead sheets to reach out to residences and enhance service adoption in designated areas. This role is accountable for meeting a set sales target based on the number of transactions, net contribution per sale, and ongoing monthly reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door sales presentations for Internet and phone services within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Maximize opportunities for customers to acquire and retain their Internet and phone services.
  • Deliver comprehensive and precise information, effectively promoting the value of our services based on customer needs and available options.
  • Communicate details regarding products, services, pricing, installation fees, promotional requirements, and special offers clearly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive company image at all times.
  • Achieve productivity benchmarks set by the department to maximize subscriber acquisition.
  • Submit all sales documentation and collected funds promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records, report sales activities and outcomes, and inform supervisors of any issues as they arise.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
  • Honor scheduled appointments with customers.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a combination of sales experience and education is acceptable.
  • Associate's Degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing; door-to-door sales experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours to meet sales targets.
  • Warm and professional presentation style is essential.
  • Professional appearance suitable for both office and field environments is required.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation are mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
