Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Equinox. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience at our club.
Key Responsibilities:- Professionally greet members and guests, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Scan membership IDs and answer phones in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond to member questions, concerns, and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
- Update member accounts as needed and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for members and staff
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including opening, closing, and mid-day shifts
- Ability to tour members and provide exceptional customer service
- Aid other departments with related tasks and projects
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent work experience
- Reliable, professional, and computer literate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably interested in health, fitness, and/or sports
- Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing, with the ability to effectively communicate in person, via email, and via phone
- Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, including standing for long periods of time, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height
- Must be able to perform pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs at a time
