Oncology Care Coordinator

At St. Michael's Medical Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of oncology. As a Registered Nurse Navigator, you will play a vital role in our team, providing warm line support and navigation services for clients served by our institution.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse Navigator is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and maintaining standards of care within the Cancer Center.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current and valid state RN License, OCN certification preferred, and current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Previous acute care hospital experience is also preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required.
