Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN I to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in our oncology clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and therapies under the direction of a physician
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to maintain current knowledge of oncology nursing
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
