Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative at the YMCA Of Greater Hartford. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, potential members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Membership Sales and Support: Assist with membership sales, handle phone calls, and provide membership information to members and guests.
  2. Front Desk Operations: Regulate lobby traffic, manage membership and program sales, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  3. Communication and Teamwork: Be knowledgeable about YMCA policies and procedures, effectively communicate with members and staff, and work collaboratively as a team player.
  4. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, assemble emergency equipment, and assist in the care of victims.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Perform cash handling, balance daily transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  6. Professional Development: Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
