Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to join our growing transportation practice in Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from bridge design and rehabilitation to inspection and load rating.
Responsibilities- Design new bridges and rehabilitate existing ones, ensuring they meet the highest safety and quality standards.
- Develop project plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates, working closely with project managers and other technical staff.
- Conduct site visits, inspect bridges, and review shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Produce high-quality deliverables on time and within budget, while maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- BS or MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation, inspection, and load rating, preferably with PennDOT projects.
- Engineer In Training certification (F.E.) or obtainable within one year.
- Proficiency in computer-assisted engineering and design software, including Microstation and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
