Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Float Pool position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center by optimizing the quality of life of all those served. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in our acute care units, including medical surgical, med tele, and ortho floors. You'll also have the opportunity to float to other units, including PCU, vascular, wound care, GI, ophthalmology, and bariatric surgeries.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in our acute care units
  • Float to other units as needed, including PCU, vascular, wound care, GI, ophthalmology, and bariatric surgeries
  • Oversee and direct the care of LPNs and assistive personnel
  • Maintain final accountability for the care given to assigned patients
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license
  • Current BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Current ACLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • BSN desirable
  • Two years' nursing experience minimum with specialty in acute care preferred
