Outside Sales Professional in Construction Industry

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in the Construction Materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Outside Sales, with a proven track record in B2B sales. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within the construction industry.
- Plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to do business with us.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
- Develop a rapport with new clients and provide support that continually improves the relationship.
- Grow and retain existing clients by presenting new solutions and services.
- Work with the team to develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle negotiations and close deals.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Outside Sales within the construction industry, with a proven ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. Additionally, they will have excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize among competing tasks and think critically.
