About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to join our team at AndHealth. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading our specialty pharmacy operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to our specialty pharmacy team, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
    • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent patient care and service.
  • Clinical Expertise
    • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research, applying this knowledge to inform our pharmacy practices and improve patient outcomes.
  • Quality and Accreditation
    • Oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring our pharmacy meets the highest standards of accreditation.
    • Collaborate with our quality management team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of our specialty pharmacy, including the management of inventory, supplies, and equipment.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
    • Unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of direct patient care experience in pharmacy, with a focus on specialty pharmacy.
    • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
