We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Packaging Corporation of America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our corrugated equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Follow all company procedures, protocols, and safety policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and making adjustments to optimize equipment performance.
- Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
- Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly, and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Work willingly all necessary hours and shifts, including overtime as needed.
- Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Provide own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasks.
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
