Job Title: Guest Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team at Worcesterart. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, answering questions and offering information about exhibitions, events, and programs.
  • Process admission tickets, memberships, and donations using our point-of-sale system.
  • Promote and sell Museum memberships, highlighting the benefits and value to our guests.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our Welcome Centers and galleries.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of our iPads and other technology.
  • Issue keys to staff members and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others.
  • Experience handling cash transactions and working with a point-of-sale system.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding guest service and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends, with regular and reliable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a public environment.
  • High school graduate or equivalent experience.
