Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Develop and oversee patient care plans.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute and implement physician and nursing directives.
- Evaluate and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer is required. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Florida Board of Nursing is required prior to hire or job transfer.
Educational Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
