Responsibilities

The CNS works collaboratively to improve patient care and outcomes, functioning as a leader within the three spheres of influence: patient/client, nurses and nursing practice, and organization/system. Key responsibilities include:

  • Improving patient care and outcomes
  • Leading nursing practice and development
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in nursing with a CNS focus
  • Experience as a CNS or equivalent
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs
