Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Manager to join our team at Dematic. As a key member of our project core team, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into defined scope and tasks for the project, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all customer communication, documentation, and deliverables, including functional design specifications, drawings, and acceptance test plans.
  • Responsible for scheduling contract review team meetings with the contract manager during the project kick-off phase.
  • Review, interpret, and manage contracts and subsequent changes, working closely with the contract manager.
  • Partner with the project planner or scheduler to create, communicate, and maintain project plans and schedules using established processes, methods, and tools.
  • Ensure smooth handover to customer service and external customers, with clearly defined and agreed-upon actions for project close-out.
  • Collaborate with the site manager and EHS&S group on safety matters, adhering to company or legislative requirements.
  • Conduct project assessments, capture lessons learned, and prepare final close-out reports.
  • Accountable for project risk and opportunity management, including risk mitigation strategies and actions with appropriate risk owners.

  • Knowledge of equipment, subsystem, and system performance criteria, as well as dynamic handling characteristics and risks associated with complex material handling systems.
  • Understanding of controls architectures, related controls levels, and functionality of controls domains, including WMS and WCS integration.
  • Ability to develop detailed project schedules for engineering, installation, and integration activities, as well as explicit and implicit out-of-scope milestones.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range for this role is estimated at $107 - $160 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors, including work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
