The salary range for Associate Sponsored Projects Officer is $58,000 - $70,000, and the salary range for Sponsored Project Officer is $62,000 - $78,000.
A remote work option is available.
About the Role
As a member of the University of Michigan's Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP), you will play a critical role in safeguarding and advancing the university's research enterprise. You will provide efficient pre-award and non-financial post-award services for the compliant administration of externally sponsored grants, contracts, and ancillary agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on sponsored research and other funded activities
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex research administration challenges
- Collaborate with researchers, faculty, and staff to ensure compliance with university policies and external regulations
- Manage and coordinate the pre-award process, including proposal development and submission
- Provide training and support to researchers and staff on research administration policies and procedures
