The University of California, Riverside seeks a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director for Holistic Health Operations to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive health and wellbeing services for students. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Health, Wellbeing & Safety, this key role will play a critical part in shaping the university's health and wellbeing strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for health and wellbeing services, aligning with the university's mission and goals.
- Lead the establishment of goals and objectives for Student Health Services, Mental Health Services and Initiatives, and the Health Education and Promotion Department.
- Analyze and evaluate service delivery in relation to changing student needs, cultural diversity, market forces, public health concerns, technology requirements, accreditation, licensing, and funding.
- Monitor service utilization and financial costs to ensure the viability and success of the university insurance plan at the campus level.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to design cost-effective use of space for service delivery, projecting for sustained and continuous growth.
- Inform the Vice Chancellor of issues of managerial or political significance, including comprehensive outpatient medical and mental health services, student health insurance, campus mental health outreach and consultation services, health education programs, and engagement of campus/community partners.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, health education, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a healthcare or higher education setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
The University of California, Riverside offers a competitive salary range of $123,000 - $241,400 annually, based on education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
