Job Summary

The Quality Improvement Assistant plays a vital role in the agency's program evaluation team, working closely with the Director of Quality Improvement and the Evaluation Coordinator. This position is responsible for maintaining systems, schedules, and templates for tracking program progress across the organization. The Quality Improvement Assistant will compile and share program data to help the Director of Quality Improvement and agency leadership understand the impact and identify opportunities for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate data collection activities and procedures for Quality Assurance/Evaluation under the direction of the QA Director.
  • Compile and report results of external and internal evaluations, outcomes, and client tracking reports.
  • Conduct quarterly surveys with clients to validate previously determined services.
  • Assist the QA Director in collecting client and staff satisfaction survey reports.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of clinical operation trends and patterns to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data tracking and reporting systems.
  • Assist with agency and program Case Record Review process.
  • Conduct comprehensive performance improvement projects.
  • Support the development of program outcome measures and other indicators relevant to the work of Research & Evaluation.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Senior Director, or Executive Director.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in health or human services with 3 years of work-related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in health or human services with 1 year of work-related experience.
  • Experience with data entry, management, and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Work Environment:

This position is hybrid/remote and requires 25 hours of work per week.

Contacts:

Frequent contact with Program Directors, Program Managers, team members from other departments, and program participants. Occasional contact with contract providers, community agencies, and service providers.
