We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Algorithm Developer to join our team at APN Software Services Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced algorithms for image and data analysis in the field of Digital Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop algorithms for image processing, machine learning, and pattern recognition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into commercial medical devices.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advances and job training requirements in the medical device industry.
- Identify and document Intellectual Property opportunities for technology and applications.
- Present results to project partners, collaboration partners, and at scientific conferences.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Four years of experience in a related field.
- Hands-on experience with algorithm development for image or data analysis algorithms.
- Experience in the design and development of analysis algorithms for biomedical image data.
- Product development experience with a focus on data analysis preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent skill sets in C++ or Python.
- Good understanding of scientific principles; good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Working knowledge and theoretical understanding of image analysis, pattern recognition, machine learning, computer vision, and data mining methods.
