Responsibilities

  • Develop novel algorithms and methods for training AI models for robotics tasks, driving innovation in the field.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to develop a diverse set of robust robotic manipulation skills, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Design, implement, test, and deploy state-of-the-art learning-based manipulation algorithms on real robots, achieving exceptional results.
  • Build and ship reliable and high-quality software for robots, meeting the highest standards of excellence.

Qualifications

  • Hold a graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in conducting AI and robotics research, with a strong track record of achievements.
  • possess deep technical knowledge of robot learning techniques, including reinforcement learning and imitation learning.
  • Be passionate about working with robots and building robot products, with a drive to innovate and improve.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges.
  • Be proficient in Python and at least one deep learning library, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Have experience with deploying AI models on real robots, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Be familiar with robot simulators, such as Isaac Gym or SAPIEN, for efficient testing and development.
  • Achieve research excellence, with publications in top conferences and journals, such as Science Robotics or IJRR.
