The Opportunity:

As a Field Services Engineer II, you will be responsible for deploying, installing, and maintaining our Precision Clock Systems. This involves guaranteeing the reliability, safety, robustness, and lifetime of our product designs. You will be supporting a robust and resilient system in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow and improve upon that system.

You will support unique solutions to extend legacy hardware functionality or find ways to improve on the current system design.

Our Technology:

Safran Federal Systems provides solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations, and their contractors. Safran Federal Systems is authorized to work on the full spectrum of U.S. Government classified and unclassified projects, in addition to supporting strategic partnerships for key defense PNT technologies.

How I Will Contribute:


Interacts directly on-site with customer daily, reports remotely to main SFS officeAnalyzes user needs while building, modifying, installing, and testingResponsible for troubleshooting errors, or malfunctions, while performing unscheduled or routine maintenance.

Provides support for unscheduled and scheduled user testCreates, distributes, and maintains service or training manuals; provides on-siteHandles moderately complex issues and problems and escalates more complex issues.

Possesses solid working knowledge of subject
You Bring to the role:

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical disciplineA minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role with a background in supporting client solutions on site as needed.

Ability to commute back and forth to the customer on dailyAbility to work as part of aStrong oral and written communicationDemonstrated track record of providing customer/client orientation while working on site or remotely to the customer
