Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with Infracore colleagues and leadership, as well as client end users.
  • Oversee and manage clients' IT infrastructure, which includes Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, cloud services (Azure, AWS), service desk, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for IT issues, providing support to desktop and IT specialists, engaging with IT vendors confidently, and implementing preventative measures.
  • Assist in designing and deploying enterprise-level projects for storage, networking, data backup, endpoint management, and mobile device management, while suggesting enhancements and driving solutions with a cloud-first mindset.
  • Implement the systems maintenance strategy, ensuring routine tasks such as monitoring backups, patching systems, and conducting test restores are executed, while seeking opportunities for automation and simplification.
  • Promote best practices for cybersecurity, ensuring adherence to standards such as MFA, least-privilege access, and Conditional Access.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of the compliance landscape relevant to clients (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, CCPA) and articulate these standards, including data protection and control measures.
  • Contribute to the technical growth of team members by assisting in onboarding new hires and sharing expertise.
  • Support leadership in developing the IT Budget and Strategy for the upcoming year by researching trends, identifying technical needs, and managing system upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in deploying and managing enterprise IT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting of DFS, NPS, DHCP, DNS, and ADDS.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 security best practices, including Microsoft Secure Score and third-party configuration standards.
  • Experience with Azure AD, including synchronization methods, Enterprise Applications, SSO, and Conditional Access setup.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity measures and best practices, such as multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, SSL certificates, and encryption.
  • Experience managing AWS and/or Azure, including designing and implementing scalable infrastructures and conducting migrations.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, including packet data capture and analysis for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to design complex and redundant networks across multiple sites, subnets, and utilizing WAN and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language (PowerShell preferred).
  • Experience setting up physical servers, including RAID configuration, firmware updates, and OS/Hypervisor installation.
  • Knowledge of SAN and storage platforms, including disk types, RAID configurations, and data replication.
  • Experience with enterprise backup software, including backup and restore processes.
  • Familiarity with virtualization solutions (VMWare, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with endpoint imaging solutions using tools such as WDS, Ghost, Acronis, and System Center.
  • Conducting network audits.
