About the Role:

Pison Technology is seeking a seasoned leader to head our Systems Engineering organization. As the Head of Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that drives the development of our engineering systems products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Systems Engineering organization, including systems engineering, quality assurance, and technical program management teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, systems, and technical program management best practices.
  • Drive quality assurance, advocating for high code coverage, automation, and overall production yield.
  • Collaborate with Pison Engineering and Product groups to deliver quality, enjoyable experiences for our customers.
  • Support our engineering service offerings with integrating our technology into 3rd party solutions.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in systems engineering, and either software development or hardware development.
  • Proven experience working on end-to-end product development, bridging hardware and software components seamlessly.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard program management and quality assurance practices.
  • Natural collaborator, with straightforward communication style and strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability towards commercial viability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in transformation roles.
  • Self initiative in an agile software development environment.
  • Hands-on experience in quality assurance and program management.
  • Familiarity with Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies or practical experience.
  • Experience in AI, or Engineering Services.
  • Experienced writing Python, Dart, Flutter, Kotlin, Swift, C++, C.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, or similar.
