Job Overview

The Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a skilled Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to enhance our Learning Administration team. This role is integral to ensuring that our LMS platform effectively supports training and compliance needs across various programs. As the subject matter expert for the LMS, you will collaborate with instructional specialists, line managers, and program owners to implement training requirements accurately within the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT programmers to:
    • Serve as the communication bridge between functional experts and development teams to clarify requirements and functionalities.
    • Administer security protocols within your area of expertise.
    • Identify, mitigate, and resolve issues related to server hardware, operating systems, and network configurations.
    • Monitor system controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with established security procedures, evaluating complex system interface data regularly.
  • Ensure all tasks are conducted securely and in accordance with laboratory excellence procedures, safety authorizations, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems).
    • Experience in Information Systems Administration.
    • A combination of education and experience that equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge may also be considered.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience, or equivalent experience. Certifications such as Microsoft T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Server, and ServiceNow are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is $75,804 to $155,496, based on factors like education and relevant experience.
