Job Summary:

Maurices is seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and creating a personalized shopping experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their fashion needs and preferences, and making personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends, product knowledge, and company promotions to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and maintaining store presentation, including setting up displays, arranging merchandise, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
