Corin Group: Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team in Raynham, MA. This position involves assembling and testing robotic devices used in hospital surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Assemble and test robotic devices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete quality documentation and adhere to QMS requirements, including ISO 30485 and GMP standards.
  • Evaluate and escalate issues, and provide training to new team members on manufacturing, calibration, and maintenance procedures.
Electrical Assembly:
  • Assemble electronic components to create complete robotic devices.
  • Solder fine wire harnesses and conduct mechanical assembly and panel wiring.
  • Install software and firmware using Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Perform in-process inspections of completed components and robotic systems.
Testing and Calibration:
  • Calibrate and test robotic systems, including the Omni Bot and Balance Bot.
  • Verify system functionality and sign off on quality documentation.
  • Measure voltages, currents, and resistance using multi-meters or bespoke test equipment.
Service and Maintenance:
  • Run diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with returned units.
  • Conduct weekly equipment and inventory checks to ensure readiness for production.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Electrical Assembly Technician, with a strong background in soldering and electrical engineering. They should be able to follow strict work instructions with zero error and have a lean manufacturing approach to working. Experience with IPC J STD 001 Soldering certification is a plus.
