Job Summary:
A highly skilled Administrative Assistant I is sought after to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. This dynamic individual will work closely with the Practice Manager, ensuring seamless appointment registrations and insurance verification processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and clearing registration edits in Patient and Charge Review Work queues, verifying out-of-network benefits, and updating appointment notes for front desk staff. With a strong educational background in Secretarial Science or a related field, along with 2-3 years of administrative experience, you will be well-equipped to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate appointment registrations and insurance verification processes.
  • Review and clear registration edits in Patient and Charge Review Work queues.
  • Verify out-of-network benefits and update appointment notes accordingly.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Science or related field (Associates Degree with 2+ years of experience accepted).
  • At least 2-3 years of administrative experience in a medical office setting.
