Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator issued by the New York State Department of Health. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Health Administration, Long Term Care Administration, or related field is required.
You should also have five (5) years of paid, full-time experience in health care administration or management above the department-head level utilizing a thorough knowledge of skilled nursing facility administration, regulatory compliance pertaining to skilled nursing facility operations with special reference to accreditation procedures.
