**About Us**

DCI Donor Services is a leading organ procurement organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate In-House Recovery Coordinator to join our team.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a registered nurse with experience in critical care to oversee the process of procuring the gift of organ donation. As an In-House Recovery Coordinator, you will work closely with our clinical team to assess the compatibility of organs for recipients, expedite the surgical and technical processes, and package and transfer organs for transplant.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Evaluate patient suitability for organ donation by reviewing medical records and consulting with medical staff.
  • Coordinate organ placement and allocation with transplant programs and surgeons.
  • Coordinate and assist in the surgical recovery of organs and peri-operative management, including logistics such as arranging transportation and ensuring surgical packaging.
  • Provide support to donor families and conduct medical/social history interviews.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to improve donation metrics, protocols, and policy.
  • Develop and present hospital educational programs and status reports based on strategic goals.
  • Update donor information into electronic medical records.

**Requirements**

  • Two plus years of prior experience in a critical care setting.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and multitask.
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Registered Nursing (RN) License.
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
