Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team at the Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will provide patient care services in a community pharmacy setting, filling and verifying prescription orders in compliance with Federal and State laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill and verify prescription orders in compliance with Federal and State laws
  • Provide accurate and safe drug therapy
  • Quality assurance for medication errors and medication consultation
  • Supervise and verify non-sterile compounding preparations
  • Provide in-line care, including MTM/TIPS, immunizations, and precepting IPPE and APPE students
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited (ACPE) school of pharmacy
  • Registered pharmacist in the state of CA
  • Pharm.D., residency or equivalent experience preferred
  • Availability on an "as-needed" basis to cover shifts at the three USC Pharmacy locations
Per Diem Rate

$72.00 per hour

Variable hours – 8 hour shifts, including Saturdays

(3) USC Pharmacy locations
