We are currently seeking a full-time Building Inspector to fill in as needed for various cities. The successful candidate will perform field inspections of various phases of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have two to three years of building inspector experience, be ICC Certified as a building inspector, and possess a strong construction background or a contractor's license. We will also consider candidates with a desire to gain experience as a building inspector, with ICC Certification as a building inspector to take place within one year of employment.
The Building Inspector will review routine over-the-counter plans, assist in issuing building permits, and perform site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, clients, and applicants.

The salary for this position will vary dependent on the applicant's experience.
