The Software Application Support Analyst is essential in delivering user assistance for designated software systems. Additionally, the analyst is tasked with process improvement initiatives, effective reporting, and optimizing information flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with management and departmental leaders to evaluate application needs.
  • Skillfully translates business needs into technical specifications.
  • Conducts data analysis and oversees data import processes.
  • Assists in developing procedures and best practices.
  • Facilitates training sessions on software applications for end users.
  • Engages with vendors and support teams to investigate and resolve system challenges.
  • Provides expert assistance to address application-related concerns.
  • Maintains relationships with internal teams, vendors, and hosting providers.
  • Modifies software to align with business requirements and resolve user issues.
  • Ensures delivery of application support services across multiple platforms.
  • Manages technical support requests and addresses recurring challenges.
  • Regularly updates managers and end users on progress.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation and knowledge base resources.
  • Records computer data transactions and resolves IT-related challenges.
  • Performs backup media tasks as required.
  • Collaborates effectively within the IT Department.
  • Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

This position necessitates a bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering with a minimum of two years of experience, or a high school diploma accompanied by over six years of relevant experience in software applications. Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills are imperative.
