Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist in Northern Nevada

Renown Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in Northern Nevada, is actively seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to enhance our accomplished medical team. Our physician-led group operates across various locations, providing a collaborative environment. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to educate medical students and residents as part of the Community Faculty at the University of Nevada Reno Medical School.
PROGRAM & POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Comprising a 19-physician group with specialized support in MFM and Uro Gyn
- Access to experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) and Advanced Practice Providers (APP)

Education Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking. Board-Eligible or Board-Certified status in the relevant medical specialty is required.
Licensure:
Must hold and maintain a valid Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license in the State of Nevada. A Controlled Substance License to Prescribe from the State of Nevada and a Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the DEA are mandatory.
Certifications:
Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). If Board Eligible at the time of hiring, certification must be achieved within two years of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Preference is given to certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA), although online certifications from recognized providers will be accepted.
