We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on labor, delivery, and postpartal care
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN nursing license in good standing with the Nevada State licensing board
- Minimum of one (1) year post-graduate nursing experience in ICU, NICU, or Med/Surgical
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certifications
